Irish Charity Ball
The Fourth Irish Charity Ball was held on Friday, 28 March 2003, in the Vienna Marriott Hotel. The Ball follows on the successful Third Irish Charity Ball, held in March 2002, which raised over 20,000 Euros. As in 2002, all profits from the Fourth Irish Charity Ball will be donated to charity, with GOAL being the main beneficiary, and a contribution to be made to the Children's Cancer Research Institute in Vienna as well.
GOAL is an international relief and development agency based in Ireland, dedicated to the objective of alleviating the suffering of the poorest of the poor in the under developed world. More detailed Information on GOAL is available on its website at www.goal.ie
The Children's Cancer Research Institute in Vienna is internationally renowned and works in close conjunction with the St. Anna Children's Hospital.
